Whether you choose our two-week Pre-College Programs or enroll in our five- to 10-week undergraduate Summer Term courses, you’ll learn from JHU’s expert instructors, study with future leaders from around the world, and enjoy engaging activities as part of the Johns Hopkins community.
For Pre-College Program Applicants
Demonstrated high-school experience includes the successful completion of one year of high school.
For Summer Term Applicants
Demonstrated high-school experience includes the successful completion of two years of high school and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Specific course prerequisites must also be met.
Applying for Admission
To start this exceptional opportunity, you’ll need:

- One Letter of Recommendation
Identify a school counselor, teacher, or principal who can submit a letter of recommendation which provides insight into you and your work.
- An Official Academic Transcript

Receiving Your Admissions Decision
Summer at Hopkins will review your application and send notification of your decision to the online application portal. If admitted, you’ll be able to accept your offer of admission, submit any remaining enrollment documents, and pay your tuition through the application portal.
